Description
EPOXY ANTI-STATIC FLOORING SYSTEM
Epoxy Anti-Static coating is an easy-to-clean and dust-free floor coating. It is easy to clean, has medium mechanical strength and chemical resistance. The aim of the anti-static coating is to remove static electricity from the current environment with copper bars. Epoxy Anti-Static coating is a type of floor coating that makes new concrete floors or worn, pitted, damaged concrete floor surfaces shiny, dense and smooth. With this chemical coating, floors can be created quickly and durably.
Surface Preparation of the Floor: All cement grout and loose materials on the concrete surface will be cleaned, and mechanical scraping (milling and leveling) will be done with Blastrak or Grinder machines to ensure the adhesion of the concrete and epoxy. The defects on the concrete surface will be repaired with epoxy-based repair mortar. If there is oil absorbed on the surface, it should be cleaned by burning or areas where the oil has penetrated too deeply should be broken and repaired.
Coating Application: Materials should be mixed with a 400 rpm mixer to prevent air mixing into the material.
Primer (Epoxy Primer): Epoxy Primer is a two-component material and all of the hardener will be added to the resin and mixed until it reaches a uniform (uniform, homogeneous, evenly distributed) consistency. Silica sand will be mixed into the primer and the application process will be carried out with a zero trowel. Silica sand should be sprinkled on the mixture after the application to increase adherence. In order to obtain the necessary smoothness on surfaces with irregular surfaces, a second layer of Primer + Silica sand should be applied.
Intermediate Layer: It is a two-component material and all of the hardener will be added to the resin and mixed until it reaches a uniform (uniform, homogeneous, evenly distributed) consistency. The spreading process will be carried out with a zero trowel. In order to be able to carry out the spreading process, the primer layer should be waited for to dry and the surface should be cleaned of excess silica sand particles after drying. Copper tapes will be laid on the intermediate layer, that is, on the surface (Copper tapes will be laid on the surface in a plus shape to be connected to each other), and conductive primer will be applied to ensure conductivity.
Final Layer (Epoxy Anti-Static): Each package consists of two components. Hardener will be added to the resin and mixed until it becomes uniform (uniform, homogeneous, evenly distributed). The resulting mixture will be applied to the floor with an epoxy conductive self-leveling notched trowel after the conductive primer application. The air will be removed with the help of a spiked roller and gas discharges will be facilitated. The floor is ready to be walked on approximately one day after the coating is applied. It should not be exposed to heavy loads for 7 days for full mechanical and chemical resistance.
Areas of Use: Epoxy Anti-Static coating can be used with different color preferences in all industrial floorings, hospitals, electrical factories, electronics factories, automotive sector and all surfaces that are desired not to be affected by static electricity.
